The KC square style rear guards first appeared in the early eighties and were so called after the late Kenny Carter. Only a handful of riders used this style of guard in the eighties and early nineties, with most riders using the round "racer" style rear guard but in recent years the trend has switched, with the majority opting for the KC.
The Maisto model bikes come as factory standard with the round guard shown above, and with most riders using the KC, we decided to make the bikes look more authentic by producing our own KC guard, which i am pleased to say is now available to purchase, either as an add-on when ordering a bike, or for fitting to your existing models.
If you wish to fit the guards yourself, full instructions for fitting will be enclosed with your order, or for £2.00 postage we can fit the guards to your bike and return it by recorded post within UK (please contact us for price outside UK)
