As well as the five models auctioned on ebay, I sent an extra bike up to Garry as a keepsake of his career. Garry is seen above with the model looking remarkably well just three months after his accident.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO BID ON THESE FIVE BIKES AND ESPECIALLY TO THE 5 WINNING BIDDERS FOR THEIR AMAZING CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE GARRY STEAD BENEFIT FUND.

2007 Model, which was the subject of the first 3 auctions

2005 "Revs" model, auctioned in November 2007

I know Garry and his team are also very appreciative of all the bids for these auctions.

Thanks again, Jay.

For anyone who doesn't know, Garry suffered multiple injuries in a track crash at Somerset in May this year, the most serious of which was a broken back which has left him permanently paralysed from the waist down. Many fund raising events are taking place for Steady all over the country, and I hope as many of you as possible can contribute to my auctions to show your appreciation for 17 years of entertainment from Garry Stead. For more fundraising news go to Garry's official website fundraising page here.
